Jobs

We can start with a recommendation.

I recently read a part of Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography. I think it’s a part of that. It’s called Steve Jobs’ Leadership Lessons, or something very close to that. I’m translating directly from Spanish. Anyway, I thought it was very interesting and understandable.

I have watched a couple of Steve’s videos on YouTube. I specially like the presentation of the first IPhone (I’m leaving a link to this at the bottom). To me, it’s even more interesting than many of the series on Netflix right now. I’m drifting away from the point. The point is that Steve talks about his products in a very unique way. He has a vision and a certain attitude towards everything that he was involved in.

When I read the leadership lessons I could see that those were the principles behind the products that Apple was releasing. Also, if you watch any of the two Steve Jobs’ movies, you can also see those principles.

The leadership lessons reflect very precisely the decisions in his design results. I’m curious, however, what his design process actually looked like. That is something I will look for in the near future.

Ciao for now.
